What Steelie keeps about you
Last updated 21 October 2026. Steelie is a small game made by one person, Andrew Hartwig.
When you sign in with Google
Google tells us your name, your email address and an account id. That's all we ask for. It is stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) so you can sign in again and so the beta can be opened to you. We never see your Google password.
What you make and do in the game
- Levels and packs you publish, with the display name you choose.
- Ratings, likes, reactions and reports you give, and people you block.
- Play stats: which levels you tried and cleared, times, falls, and replays of your best runs (used for leaderboards and difficulty).
- Whether you're let into the beta, and whether you own the full game.
Levels you make but don't publish stay on your device.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no selling or sharing your data with anyone.
- No tracking or analytics cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in on this site.
- No email from us other than about your account, if ever.
Who handles it
Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in. Cloudflare serves this website and keeps short-lived request logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect it. Google handles the sign-in screen. The phone remote connects your phone to the game; the pairing passes through Supabase and nothing from it is stored.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Account and press Delete account. That removes your account and everything tied to it: profile, published packs, ratings, reports, play stats and replays. Records of a store purchase are kept without your name, as the stores require. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.
